We’ve noticed a growing appetite for our alcoholic infused sorbets which are being used by hotels not simply as a stylish pud or a palate cleanser but as a decadent base for their in vogue cocktails. I should mention that our Nan’s drink’s cabinet has been a constant Aladdin’s cave of inspiration over the years, providing us with all manner of retro classic flavour marriages to dabble with.
For example, our latest top seller Blackcurrant & Martini came about as a result of Dad taking a trip down memory lane, (the courting years) whilst Sour Cherry & Amaretto came about as a result of me choosing to reminisce about one of my favourite late 90’s tipples, Disaronno.
In the early years my dad also went through a phase of being inspired by some of his favourite foods, which didn’t always work out as samples of his now infamous Parsnip & Balsamic Vinegar & Curried Pineapple creations will clearly testify.
