In March our team visited The International Food & Drink show that took place in ExCel, London.
This event was bigger, fresher and more innovative than ever before.
With over 1,350 exhibitors and more than 27,000 visitors were passed throughout the three days that it was held.
This is a wonderful event that brings independent food & drink companies together under one roof.
The show gave visitors the chance to discover wholefoods, gourmet snacks as well as beverages.
Our team came across some very interesting foodie companies who were exhibiting all looking to gain a slice of the independent food & drinks market as we hope to work with them as we gradually develop our online platform.

There was also a section within the venue for Speciality & Regional Foods.
One company that caught our eye and also hope to work with in the very near future is That Hungry Chef.
For those that of you not familiar with That Hungry Chef which is a unique pickle collection and aromatic Mojo Risin chilli relishes that promise to take taste buds on an exciting tour of flavours……and they do just that!

Events like these are great places to go and network with independent food & beverage companies especially if you are a start-up like us.
They are also useful if you are a manufacturer or producer looking to gain some much needed interest and exposure in your product, drum up that business within both B2B & B2C perspectives.
IFE runs every other year, and from the turn out it is easy to see why it is so successful- an action packed event for not only businesses but foodies as well to get exposure to the new and very exciting independent companies knocking on the doors of the retailers.
