A key pillar of the Beckleberry’s story is our ongoing commitment to reduce our carbon footprint, recycling whether possible, supporting the local community we inhabit and reducing waste.
As it happens our 10,000sq ft factory is a converted ambulance station and when we decided that the time was ripe for a new flagship vehicle to head up the events side of our operation, we opted out of buying new, choosing instead to resuscitate Nellie, a 1975 Ford Ice Cream van.
At this very moment we also have live projects in place to recycle our cardboard more effectively, whilst my brother David is looking specifically at water and heat recovery systems.
We also work closely alongside Momentum (The Stroke Association) providing ‘back to work’ opportunities for recovering victims looking for increasingly rare back to work openings.
